psotw: Sayuri Anzu - Three full sets!

MilkyAngels! idol of the week, Sayuri Anzu. Sayuri made her debut in 2000 and since then has become one of Japan’s top idols. Not only a gravure model, Sayuri has also been successful in music and acting. Sayuri’s “100 Magic Words” music video. Miss Anzu has graced many magazine covers and is one of the more prolific trading card idols. Her fourth series “Lady”, from Bomb Trading Card company, is due out September of this year. We are eagerly awaiting this release from the multi-talented sexy Sayuri Anzu. As for the picture sets; two are from Image.tv [Beauty Box & Caution, sweet] one is from Sabra [Spicy Girl]. Juicy Honey 9 Case Open Report

Well, in fact the title is a bit missleading, as all 5 cases finally only remain 13 boxes for myself and that’s what I opened in the past two nights.

A quick list for what rares I got and their corresponding locations in the case:

So you should notice that some really rare things are missing! Where are they and what are they? Hahaha, congrats to my lucky customers who receive these boxes

And also gather the case results with our dear member wizkid, the conclusion is that one case should normally contains 1 Photo, 2 Polaroids, 1-2 Kiss, 1 Auto C, 1 Auto B, 3-4 Auto A, many Jerseys (18 in average), plus random ultra rares.

My result is not good in common sense, but since most important cards come from Mihiro and Arisa who I like, I’m still happy with the result. Especially I pulled that Mihiro Kiss at my very last box…… that’s great!

P.S. So all my dear customers, if you’ve preordered a few boxes from me and suddenly pull some great cards, please let me know softly (although I didn’t have heart disease… )

PSOTW: Olympic Cosplay + Kirara Asuka Graphis Set

In a salute to the Beijing Olympics I am bringing you the Sabra Net Strictly Cosplay Olympics set. Featuring Haruna Yabuki, Meguru Ishii, Momoko Tani, Hatsune Matsushima and Mikie Hara. I have to say that Momoko and Mikie are wearing my favorite outfits, so nice!

I am also adding a set from a fresh face to the AV indusrty, Kirara Asuka. Kirara is still in her first year but already has nine titles to her credit. Most of us at MilkyAngels! are hoping to see her debut very soon in a trading card set. With her striking features and stunning beauty I’m sure she would make a great fit for Juicy Honey or even her own set with A’Class.

Merc’s new arrivals! Rookies: Aino Kishi & Hina Kurumi + Tips for web shopping Japan

Received a big shipment today, one that I was eagerly awaiting. ^_^ All of these cards were won from auctions on yahoo.jp.

Most sellers in Japan will not ship internationally and people outside Japan are set at a basic limit of 5000 yen so if you find a seller who will ship overseas you’re very limited in what you can bid on. Not to mention you will need a good working knowledge of the Japanese language just to register an account. However there are ways around this. Proxy services such as shoppingmalljapan and japamart offer bidding and website shopping services to people around world who are interested in products from Japan. Google them for further details on services and fees.

Another way to go about shopping in Japan from your home is to make a friend who lives there. This way is a little more difficult. It may take some time to find someone fluent in your language and then more so to earn each others trust. Once established though, this method can be very rewarding. Not only do you get personalized service you can also make conversation about your different cultures and lifestyles. This is the method of choice for me.

Enough of that. Show me some cards! My featured favorites for this shipment would be Aino Kishi’s auto jersey plus Hina Kurumi’s auto cheki and Pinky Spot. The others are pretty damn sweet as well.

PSOTW: Hina Kurumi - Three Set Special

Having been given inspiration by Johnny’s picture of her type-D autograph card, I decided to dedicate this weeks feature idol spot to the immensely cute Hina Kurumi. Hina, for all intents and purposes, is a true Rookie. Having only first appeared in AV in the month of March, she has quickly won the hearts of many people around the world. She debuted with the MAX-A company and is now working with S1. She is also one of the cast members in the S1 girls cable television series Please Muscat!. Although she is not featured like some of the other big stars of the show, Hina is easily spotted when you know what to look for. Hina most always is wearing the formidable cosplay item, cat ears, and amongst all the petite beauties on the show she is the smallest in height. One thing I would like to see from Hina is that she use her blog more often. Not very many posts and nothing since early May.

Rookies Continue to Rock

This week arrivals are Juicy Honey Rookie again. Most of them are Aya Hirai. The last one is her Type C 50-limited autograph card.

Also I got a Type D 20-limited autograph card of Kurumi Hina, it’s really nice.

The final one I received this week is Caren’s half nude cheki from Juicy Honey 8. Although she’s not from Rookie Edition, she’s still an AV Rookie, right?

PSOTW: Suzanne [Sae Yamamoto] 1st photobook Oh!

This week’s idol is Sae Yamamoto, better known as Suzanne, from the pop idol group PABO. Suzanne moved to Tokyo in the spring of 2006. She appeared on some late-night talk shows and performed some minor gravure work. A producer noticed that she had some character and she was signed to an agency who mostly farms out talent to variety shows. In May of 2007 Suzanne caught her big break when she was cast as a regular on the show Quiz Hexagon II. In September of that year the show formed the all female group PABO consisting of Suzanne, Mai Satoda and Yukina Kinoshita. The group has become extremely popular in Japan and have formed together with the shows hugely popular all male band, Shuchishin, to release a new single.
